Spring Action Day at Castle Combe is the first big, outdoor event of the season for us – and we couldn’t wait to get stuck in. The event just seems to grow each year and for 2019 it was on another level.

With over 2300 club cars the venue was rammed from early doors. The size of the crowds took us all by surprise – no doubt helped by the unseasonal sunny weather.

It felt like everyone had been itching to get out to a track event after a long, cold winter and they were all intent on making the most of every second. It seemed everyone was smiling and in good spirits – the perfect recipe for a great show.

As ever, the track action was the main draw, with a huge range of cars being given some stick on the testing Castle Combe circuit. Everything from stock dailies, through to budget track weapons and full-on monsters like an Ultima – there really was something for every taste.

The drift demos also kept the bumper crowds entertained throughout the day with some high speed antics in the perfect conditions.

Away from the track, the club areas took over the paddock and most of the track perimeter. Again, it was great to see so many engine bays proudly displaying a Ramair filter – everything from bespoke Jetstream kits, to our hugely popular multi-fitment filters.

We spoke to hundreds of people and sold out of t-shirt goodie bags, so a big thank you to everyone that came over to see us.

Huge thanks to Jamie for bringing his SEAT race car along to take pride of place on our stand and special thanks to the legend that is Chris Roberts who drove the wheels off his 600bhp big-turbo BMW all day – so much so that he fried his ECU – again!
